We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Services function in Kuala Lumpur to design, develop, and maintain our full stack applications across both backend and frontend technologies. In this role, you will implement technical solutions based on established designs and requirements, working closely with team leads and senior engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs. You'll be expected to communicate regularly with your team regarding work progress, technical challenges, and potential risks as part of your daily activities.
We are hiring for this role in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We work in a hybrid model, and you can work from home most of the time, but we'd love to see you in the office now and then too.
Key Responsibilities In This Role:
- Build, test, and maintain full stack applications using Python and Java
- Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS and infrastructure as code with CDK, CloudFormation and Terraform
- Contribute to secure, maintainable, and well-tested codebases with comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with QA engineers to implement test cases and support automation strategies
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows under guidance from senior team members
- Assist in implementing AI-powered automation solutions to enhance development efficiency
- Keep up with industry trends and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
What are we looking for?
- Experience in full stack development with proficiency in Python and Java. Prior experience with application development and frontend experience is considered as an advantage, but is not a must-have
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of testing best practices and experience with automated testing frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with platforms like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Experience working in distributed/remote teams across multiple time zones
- Full professional proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
