Responsibilities
- Own the GFP architecture strategy and technical roadmap;
- Work in close cooperation with other FinTech architects and technical leads and developers both onshore and offshore;
- Identify requirements from stakeholders in the FinTech team (both GT and GC), local markets and GFP partners teams;
- Analyse business challenges and technical issues;
- Design reliable, scalable, and high performing architectures, with a specific focus on web technologies and API integrations;
- Express complex concepts in plain language to audiences in the GFP team and across FinTech;
- Contribute to FinTech Architecture Chapter and adhere to constraints, guidelines and best practices defined by the chapter.
Requirements
- Strong set of technical / architecture skills, additional business skills beneficial
- Skilled in working with both local and remote stakeholders and in multi-national distributed teams,
- Has long standing professional experience and deep knowledge of Architectures relying on web (frontend) technologies & APIs, Financial transactions & data processing systems JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Next)
- Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS Cloud Architecture, Amazon EKS & containers;
- Public Cloud Network & APIs (ELB and NLB, Ingress/Egress, Route53 DNS, Usage of REST APIs and API gateways);
- Public Cloud Secrets Management( Certificate Management, Secrets Manager);
- CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins) ;
- Logging Data Management (Dynatrace, Kafka, Logstash);
- Monitoring and Alarming (AWS CloudWatch);
- Works in agile teams and organizations (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban);
- Has the ability to design robust, highly scalable and easily maintainable / expandable architecture solutions;
- Hands-on, with well proven experience to be able to build own proofs of concept;
- Proven experience of preparing and presenting technical solutions and high level designs;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to learn and work independently;
- Very good analytical and problem-solving attitude.
