Role Overview:The HR Director will support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in strategic and operational management of HR in order to achieve/exceed company success and growth goals by providing outstanding HR support and advice. The role is responsible for providing high quality, objective and robust business partnering and performance support to ensure the business attracts, develops and retains great people ensuring the culture and values remain at the forefront of all activity.
This is a true HR Director role with a current emphasis on supporting the delivery of the people strategies and working in areas including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Change Management, Succession Planning and Employee Engagement. The HR Director oversees all human resources operations and ensures they are aligned with business goals of Infinity Group. You will oversee and rely on the expertise of the other two leaders of the Centres of Excellence (Talent Development and Culture, andInternal Recruitment) to support the creation of a high performing culture with the right people in the right place at the right time.
The HR Director will be directly responsible for the effective management of the HR team, ensuring that HR initiatives are implemented smoothly and effectively.

What Skills And Working Characteristics Should This Person Have?
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an HR Director or similar role, with a strong focus on performance management and project management.
- Exceptional knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a challenging environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Strong Commercial Acumen
As A Hr Director, You’Ll Be Responsible For:
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to the SLT across a range of ER issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business. Provide professional HR advice and support on a range of highly complex and sensitive issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability and appeals, and support the operational team with day-to-day employee relations cases.
- Work with the SLT to define a highly business-focused HR strategy, translating the outputs into operational actions.
- Build effective relationships with the operational and leadership team, demonstrating the business value that can be added by the HR function.
- Encourage the integration of HR best practice into working practises and business planning.
- Support partners in employee engagement projects including championing the engagement survey, and ensuring the feedback is turned into tangible actions at business, regional and branch levels.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. Partner with line managers to develop and implement performance management strategies. Facilitate performance improvement plans and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure HR policies, processes and procedures are implemented to the required standard across the business.
- Oversee and support the talent and recruitment COE’s with their business agenda; identifying and acting in areas that need attention and improvement; drive high training standards across all divisions, highlighting the need for new training initiatives where required also to support the design and delivery of them.
- Undertake talent and succession planning reviews alongside COE leaders, ensuring that there is a constant drive to raise the levels of capability across the business.
- Work with the wider HR function, sharing best practice and supporting HR initiatives.
- Analyse trends and metrics with the HR department.
- Function as a general point of contact for Managers at site for all HR related Operational queries.
- Work closely with the SLT to ensure that optimal structures and headcount are in place at all times.
- Work in partnership with the operational management teams to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organisational and people performance in line with business needs.
- Consistently deliver an accurate and timely response to transactional activity and business issues.
- Implement all initiatives being driven by the central HR team or wider partners (e.g. annual pay review, internal communications and cascade of new initiatives).
- Ensure that all management have the required capability to consistently perform to the required standards, delivering their goals objectives and targets.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the HR team meets its objectives.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements.
