Job Description
As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving new business through the execution of the sales strategy and building a portfolio of high-growth startups for KPMG. You’ll work closely with Founders and their teams to ensure they gain access to the relevant KPMG products and services that will accelerate their achievement of critical milestones and supercharge the speed and scale of their startup’s success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver against sales targets by driving deal execution with new to firm clients
- Maintain a cadence of BD-led lead generation activities appropriate to build a sufficient sales pipeline
- Develop extensive internal and external networks & proactively share market insights

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:
- Proven experience in a B2B quota carrying role within a sales team.
- Start-up experience preferred (i.e. servicing start-ups as clients, or previous experience working for a start-up)
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills to drive outcomes
- Proven ability to create compelling proposals and value propositions. Including proficiencies with the tools to develop proposals including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Former experience working in a consulting or finance environment would be highly desirable.
Qualifications
MBA candidates will be looked upon favorably.
