About The Role
We are seeking a results driven and high performing Business Development Manager to lead growth across Mainland UK within the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries. This is a home-based position requiring regular travel to develop strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support TEAM’s continued success.
You will play a key role in strengthening TEAM’s market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and securing new business, while also helping to explore future opportunities in the Renewables sector.Â
What You Will Do
- Develop, maintain, and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with TEAM’s commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and reputation across your defined region.
- Secure and negotiate new business opportunities, ensuring financial and commercial goals are achieved.
- Develop and implement market strategies for revenue growth and diversification, including emerging opportunities in Renewables.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Support Functions to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Gather and analyse market intelligence to inform business strategies and competitive positioning.
- Identify and pursue new customers, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities to expand TEAM’s footprint.
- Provide high level reporting on sales performance, pipeline progress, and strategic initiatives.
- Represent TEAM at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our capabilities.
- Promote TEAM’s core values across all business activities.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.
- Strong understanding of refining, power generation, pipeline, or construction/fabrication environments.
- Ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to create actionable business plans.
- Excellent sales promotion, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong organisational ability and a resilient, results focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of TEAM’s products and services and an interest in Renewable Energy markets would be advantageous.
Working Conditions
- Home-based role, with flexibility to travel regularly across Mainland UK.
- Must be based in a location that allows efficient and reactive travel to customers and sites.
