Regional Hub Lead HR GBS Americas 

         

Major Tasks

  • Full responsibility for HR Operations in GBS, reports directly to Managing Director of GBS CRBR and functional reporting line to the global service delivery manager for HR Operations
  • Integral member of the GBS CRBR Leadership team and global HR LT for GBS
  • Leadership responsibility of multiple teams span of currently >100 FTE in total
  • Establish a functional process at best practice level and drive resource selection & allocation within agreed budget
  • In partnership with HR function, design reporting, analytics and Key Tasks: dashboards to provide business intelligence needs in the areas of headcount, data changes, self-service usage, employment trends, etc.
  • High focus on continuous improvements of delivered services to achieve higher efficiencies and to realize savings while keeping or even improving the quality.
  • Enforce the implementation of global related policies, procedures & processes incl. enabling technologies as set by Bayer 2022+ and the HR transformation
  • Partner with HR Function to develop, design and implement the global service delivery strategy for the GBS activities of the HR Operation - in alignment with Global Process Governance
  • Build/maintain strong & trustful relationships with new and existing partners / stakeholders in Americas both as recipients of service delivery and across the GBS community.
  • Support the implementation of new processes by taking over activities from legal entities, harmonize where possible and shape them into new operating model/process
  • Ensure that major new directives are translated into measurable goals and individual performance expectations
  • Steering both day to day operations and strategic development of all activities and related personnel in order to provide the services at the required cost, quality and speed.
  • Support and operationalize the transformation process in the GBSorganization for HR and activelyparticipate in projects, System Migration and structural changes of Bayer
  • Represent HR in GBS CR/BR Leadership team and contribute towards center-wide initiatives.

Skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of HR Functions and processeswith experience in in implementing various processes and build automation and efficiency.

  • 5-8 years of senior management experience in at least one core area of HR and/or the GBS function
  • Experience in working and leading teams in a complex global matrix required
  • Preferred experience in SuccessFactors module and implementation as well Service Now • Technically savvy is ideal and ability to relate to different user groups
  • Experience leading integration/process transformation projects/activities in the GBS environment
  • Proven experiences as leading across cultures, hierarchies, and multiple layers.
  • Proven track record of delivery in a service-driven, customerfocused environment.
  • Competence to grasp an overview of complex subject matters and to deduce operational activities
  • Passion for people and performance.
  • Ability to build trustful relationships across all levels of the organization and across cultures inan international, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent English, Spanish is a plus.
