About The Role
We’re hiring an Associate Product Designer to support our growing design team with hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to contribute to high-impact product work, learn by doing, and help shape intuitive, consistent user experiences across our platform.
Please note: sponsorship for U.S. work authorization is not available for this opportunity. This is a hybrid position required to work from Luma Financial Technologies New York, NY or Cincinnati, OH office 2-3 days/week.
What You'Ll Do
- Work closely with the lead designer, product, and engineering teams to deliver user-centered designs
- Translate requirements into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Support the design system by contributing components, documenting patterns, and helping identify areas for improvement
- Assist in user research and usability testing initiatives
- Help identify inconsistencies or usability issues across the product and share ideas for improvement
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in UX/UI design
- High-level expertise in using Figma for interface design and prototyping
- Strong interest in design systems, visual consistency, and scalable design patterns
- Good understanding of UX principles, user flows, and accessibility best practices
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow as part of a collaborative design team
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, attention to detail, and system thinking
- Experience using Pendo to support design-centered UX, such as guiding users, gathering feedback, or driving feature adoption is a plus
