Job Description

As part of its business development, Sia is recruiting a Data Marketing Consultant for its offices in New York. 

You will support the operational teams as well as the marketing and strategy departments of our clients in defining their data needs, analyzing their data, deploying data science algorithms, and providing support for strategic decision-making. 

The assignments involve the implementation of complex data processing to assist our clients, particularly in the following areas: 

  • Generative AI, Machine Learning & Statistics 
  • Data Analysis for strategic support 
  • Data Engineering & DevOps 
  • Data Transformation & Data Literacy 

Examples Of Assignments Include:

  • Detection and automatic classification of user needs: identification of main themes and specific needs based on unstructured text data from various sources (surveys, emails, etc.) using generative AI, NLP processing, and clustering. 
  • Sales forecasting to optimize new product assortment in stores: development of a machine learning model to estimate the sales potential of new luxury products in each store across the network, to provide product assortment recommendations. 
  • Customer behavior analysis for a luxury brand: deepening customer insights and conducting customer segmentation. The objective is to identify homogeneous customer profiles using clustering techniques, and to determine the key characteristics that define them, to better target marketing efforts and optimize the company’s commercial strategy. 

As part of the firm’s internal activities, your contribution will focus on: 

  • Developing and strengthening our service offerings through training, working groups, and the distribution of internal and external materials. 
  • Supporting our publication strategy (podcasts, studies, press features, etc.). 
  • Participating in business development by helping define client needs and supporting commercial initiatives. 

Qualifications

You are a graduate of a top-tier engineering school, with a specialization in data science, statistics, or marketing.

We are looking for candidates with: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience in data modeling 
  • A solid understanding of data science algorithms: Generative AI and Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, clustering methods, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure) 
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) and data visualization libraries (Dash, Plotly)
