Marketing Copywriter
Position Overview
The Marketing Copywriter will be responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and on-brand content across digital and print channels—including websites, product information systems, product launches, email campaigns, ads, video scripts, and sales collateral. The ideal candidate is passionate about creative storytelling, understands the nuances of writing for B2B and trade audiences, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience using AI-driven tools (for ideation, drafting, or optimization) is a strong plus, as we continue to evolve our digital content creation capabilities.
QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Develop and write compelling content that aligns with each brand’s positioning, voice, and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with brand managers, designers, and digital teams to bring campaigns and product stories to life across multiple platforms.
- Write and edit website copy, product descriptions, video scripts, press releases, blog articles, and sales tools.
- Translate technical product information into clear, benefit-driven messaging for trade professionals.
- Partner with the digital team to optimize content for SEO and engagement performance.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all touchpoints and ensure brand guidelines are upheld.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive messaging, and content marketing best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted content tools to enhance ideation, streamline drafting, and support data-driven improvements in tone, readability, and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably within manufacturing, building materials, or B2B industries.
- Proven ability to write for several brands in multiple tones and voices while maintaining brand consistency.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and SEO best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and editing skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with marketing automation systems, DAMs, or CMS platforms a plus.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered writing or creative tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Claude, Grammarly, Copy.ai, etc.) to support content creation and optimization.
