As a Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvements to support the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tax compliance and reporting.
What You Will Do:
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Assist in review federal, state, and local tax returns, including corporate income tax, deferred tax and indirect tax across jurisdictions.
- Ensure timely filing and accurate payment of all tax obligations.
- Support quarterly and annual provision calculations under US GAAP & Local GAAP.
- Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
Tax Planning & Strategy
- Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities and developing strategies to optimise the company’s effective tax rate.
- Keeping abreast of the latest tax developments and impact of new tax laws, regulations and rulings and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for handling and managing application of tax incentives.
- Assist in transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with other departments (eg, operation) to ensure accurate tax treatment of business transactions.
- Analyse tax implications of business transactions and provide strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate with local finance team and external advisors to work on significant tax matters.
- Maintain and improve internal tax controls and documentation.
- Support the management with additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
What You Will Bring:
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 5-7 years of progressive tax experience in corporate tax, public accounting or a combination of both.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax and international tax principles.
- English fluency, both written and spoken
Desirable:
- CPA/CIMA/ACCA or advanced tax certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP Tax & Local Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and reporting software (SAP, CorpTax).
- Experience with international tax compliance and transfer pricing is a plus.
