Junior Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer will work in the Brand & Reputation Team in Corporate Affairs and report to the Senior Manager for Brand & Advertising.

The role requires a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of design projects in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will be expected to deliver finished artwork and visual content for a wide range of materials across digital and print media, such as posters, brochures, event stands, as well as web, social and digital materials. You will need to closely collaborate with colleagues across the Corporate Affairs department as well as other key business departments and external agencies to bring our brand to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver finished artwork and visual assets for use across web, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and print materials to detailed specifications.
  • Support the Brand & Partnerships team with day-to-day tasks including layout design, image editing, and artwork preparation.
  • Deliver work within existing brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints
  • Be an advocate for our brand and visual identity and support colleagues to apply it
  • Contribute new design ideas during and support in developing new creative concepts to support the teams .
  • Ensure all output meets technical specifications and deadlines.
  • Liaise with print suppliers and external stakeholders when required.
  • Maintain and organise artwork folders, digital asset libraries, design templates, and project files.

What You'Ll Bring

  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking and good design execution across digital and print formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Basic understanding of design principles including layout, typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy and branding.
  • Familiarity with designing for online and print channels, including social media platforms and digital campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • A willingness to take feedback positively and develop based on guidance.
  • Interested in staying updated on current design trends and best practices
  • Desire to keep learning and developing design skills

Minimum Criteria

  • Relevant degree in graphic design, visual communication or similar
  • At least 1 years’ experience in Multichannel Design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
