The Position

We are seeking a forward-thinking UI/UX Designer who integrates AI-driven design tools into the creative process to deliver intuitive, modern, and scalable digital experiences. This role requires a mix of strong design fundamentals, user-centered thinking, and the ability to leverage AI technologies (such as Figma AI, Lovable, Uizard, Galileo, MidJourney, ChatGPT, and other emerging platforms) to ideate, prototype, and optimize faster and more effectively. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and thrives at the intersection of design and emerging technology. The selected candidate will work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications. 
• Leverage AI-powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Lovable, Uizard, Galileo, MidJourney, ChatGPT) to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and testing. 
• Conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating AI for rapid insights when appropriate. 
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design systems. 
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centric design solutions. 
• Stay ahead of AI design trends and recommend tools/process improvements to the team. 
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability in design solutions. 

Required Skills and Qualifications  

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design (portfolio required). 
• Proficiency in Figma (including AI features), Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. 
• Strong understanding of usability principles, design systems, and accessibility standards. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred AI Tool Experience 

• Lovable – rapid AI-powered prototyping and design generation. 
• Figma AI – design assistance, auto-layouts, and smart prototyping. 
• Uizard – converting sketches/ideas into wireframes and mockups. 
• Galileo AI – natural language to UI design generation. 
• MidJourney – concept art, moodboards, and visual inspiration. 
• ChatGPT or other AI assistants – design rationale writing, user research synthesis, content generation. 
• Open to exploring and evaluating new/emerging AI design platforms. 

30/60/90 Day Plan

First 30 Days

• Onboard to product, brand guidelines, and design systems. 
• Familiarize with current AI-enabled design stack (Figma AI, Lovable, Uizard, etc.) and workflows. 
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and review user feedback/research. 
• Deliver low-fidelity wireframes for an existing feature using AI-assisted tools. 

First 60 Days

• Partner with PM and engineering to design and iterate on new features. 
• Introduce at least one AI-powered workflow improvement (e.g., using Lovable for rapid prototyping or ChatGPT for design rationale documentation). 
• Conduct a usability test using AI tools to accelerate analysis. 
• Deliver high-fidelity mockups with prototypes for a medium-scope project. 
• Take full ownership of end-to-end design for a feature release. 
• Develop and document AI design best practices for the team. 
• Present measurable improvements in speed/efficiency from AI-enhanced workflows. 
• Mentor team members on leveraging AI for design and ideation. 
• Deliver a scalable contribution to the design system using AI augmentation. 
• Lominger Competencies (5–7 Recommended) 
• Conduct a usability test using AI tools to accelerate analysis. 
• Deliver high-fidelity mockups with prototypes for a medium-scope project. 
• Take full ownership of end-to-end design for a feature release. 
• Develop and document AI design best practices for the team.
