With the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) coming in 2027, this is your chance to join a business that’s driving real change for people and the planet.

We’re looking for a skilled Finance Controller to join our team and help us build strong financial foundations for our future growth. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and compliance, reporting directly to the Head of Finance UK – all while supporting an exciting new chapter for TOMRA Collection in the UK.

What You’Ll Do

Lead and develop a direct report responsible for junior accounting and administration tasks – a great opportunity to grow your leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and statutory requirements
• Manage corporation tax, VAT, and regulatory filings
• Coordinate audits and liaise with tax authorities
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Support cashflow forecasting and UK market entry initiatives
• Oversee ERP/finance systems (IFS) and handle legal document archives

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 3-7+ years experience
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Proven experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and develop team members
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
