Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the  facilities departments, including managing staff, resources, and inventory. 
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize facilities operations. 
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Manage inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for facility maintenance and improvement projects. 
  • Monitor and manage department budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. 
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity facilities operations. 
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactively. 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to  facilities staff to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. 
  • Additional duties/administration as needed/necessary 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. 
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and facility maintenance best practices. 
  •  Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Advanced knowledge of basic MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) 
  • Must possess a sincere dedication to provide an unsurpassed level of owner and guest satisfaction. 
  • Excellent guest service and hospitality skills. 
  • Strong problem solving and listening skills. 
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. 
  • Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must 
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. 
  • Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License. 

Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. 
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule
