Job Description

Your Contribution To Something Big:

• Design, research, and develop cutting-edge machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models — including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning — to address complex, real-world business challenges.
• Build robust, end-to-end data pipelines: from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and performance monitoring.
• Apply advanced mathematical and statistical methods (e.g., regression, time series analysis, gradient boosting) to develop scalable AI solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of ML/DL research and tools, continuously integrating new technologies to improve existing processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — data scientists, software engineers, and product managers — to integrate AI capabilities into Bosch products and systems.
• Conduct error analysis and model optimization to ensure performance, transparency, and reliability.
• Document architectures, methodologies, and best practices to foster knowledge sharing and reproducibility across teams.

Qualifications

What Distinguishes You:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. A Ph.D. is an advantage.

Experience:

• Proven track record in developing and deploying ML and DL models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, CNNs, RNNs, transformers).
• Experience with data-driven product development and ML operations (MLOps) is a plus.

Know-How:

• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C++, and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices: version control (Git), testing, continuous integration, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for model deployment and data management.

Languages:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written). German language skills are a plus.
