We are a technology-driven company leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure to build and host high-performance online applications. Our platforms are developed using modern frameworks such as Java/J2EE, Python, Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL. We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong background in DevOps to manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and security of our AWS environment hosting Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL-based applications.

Primary Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS resources (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications hosted in AWS.
- Manage networking components, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
Devops & Automation
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Support application teams with deployment automation and environment setup.
Monitoring & Security
- Monitor system health, performance, and cost using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Trusted Advisor.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance controls.
- Perform regular patching, updates, and backup management.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with development teams to support application deployments and performance tuning.
- Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud administration.
- Strong understanding of EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, security, and monitoring in AWS.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) is a plus.
- Knowledge of application environments built on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Experience in cost optimization and budgeting on AWS.
- Familiarity with logging and alerting tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
- Basic understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
- Experience with web server management.
This is an on-site role. Candidates must be in a commutable distance or willing to relocate independently.
