Senior Finance Manager-Azure Customer Solution Area, MCSA (Mexico, Central & South America)

Microsoft Americas Enterprise and Industries Finance team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Azure Customer Solution Area for MCSA (Mexico, Central and South America) with strong analytical and communication skills, business acumen and thought leadership to support and drive our financial rhythm and growth ambitions for the MCSA operating Unit ($1.5B+ revenue).

Microsoft Americas is the largest of 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business that covers the US, Canada and LATAM and generates over 50% of Worldwide (WW) revenue. The Microsoft LATAM-MCSA operating unit is multi-country operating unit that includes +30 countries and 3 subregions/ATUs.

Our organization supports shareholder value in 54 subsidiaries and 120 Sales Locations and carries the local accountability for the financial as well as statutory and compliance matters across all Microsoft commercial segments and products.

As Senior Finance Manager for Azure Customer Solution Area for MCSA, you will partner with the business and finance to make strategic decisions through educating, driving, and implementing financial thinking around revenue today and business models for the future. Finance plays an integral part in developing growth strategies along with providing clarity to the sales team to drive tactical and financial/strategic execution of Microsoft’s business priorities.

Responsibilities

Prioritize

• Support rhythm of the business across all the stakeholders with efficiency and effectiveness
• Drive understanding of business health through deep analytics and incorporating industry & customer level insights
• Provide actionable insights to the business to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
• Support CFO forecast and budgeting process to land growth commitments with clear assumptions and drivers. Understand and manage business risk.

Partnership

• Communicate results and insights to senior leadership in a compelling and crisp manner with deep understanding of the business.
• Drive actions with stakeholders to achieve business goals including revenue generation, resource allocation, and investment decisions through close collaboration.
• Lead on-going efforts to develop and evolve our insights framework with key partners across finance and business to stay up to date with the business need and land growth opportunity.
• Deliver impact by building on the work others, aligning people and resources, and fostering shared accountability.

Protect

• Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes; drives corrective measures. Consults with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies.
• Collaborate with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance or related field
• OR bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
• OR equivalent experience
• Business level fluency to read, write and speak English and Spanish
• OR bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience with emerging markets and/or Latin America experience
• 4+ years’ experience in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, and developing financial models.
• Proven team player and collaborator who has demonstrated strong energy in ambiguous situations. Ability to handle a high degree of ambiguity, and fast paced change management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsive with strong customer service orientation
