What you’ll be able to do:
Senior Software Developer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a purely telecommuting/work-from-home position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S. Perform Front-End development of new features and enhancements for core applications. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code for dynamic user interfaces. Style components using Emotion, ensuring a responsive design and consistent user experience across devices. Collaborate with UI/UX teams to improve the user interface and make design adjustments. Refactor legacy code to improve performance and reduce technical debt. Design and build AEM components and ensure integration of AEM-based content management with the front-end using React to create dynamic, data-driven web pages that integrate seamlessly with AEM. Provide strategic insights and technical solutions for clients, ensuring that the front-end integrates smoothly with AEM for content management. Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, ensuring automated, efficient deployment of code. Troubleshoot pipeline issues, ensuring fast feedback loops and error-free builds. Work with Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling in Google Cloud. Monitor and manage the performance of the web crawler that scrapes data from Ford Pro websites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to crawling accuracy or data integration. Use Datadog to monitor system health, application performance, and key metrics. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, such as slow load times or server issues. Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure seamless API integration. Work closely with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of applications.
You'Ll Have...
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 5 years of experience with the following skill is required: 1. Using React to create dynamic, data-driven web pages and to develop new features and enhancements for applications. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Swagger/OpenAPI documentation to design and maintain clear, comprehensive API documentation. 2. Monitoring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Tekton or Jenkins ensuring automated, efficient deployment of code. 3. Automating infrastructure provisioning and scaling in at least one of the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS or Azure. 4. Writing front end code with Typescript. 1 year of experience with the following skill is required: 1. Utilizing AEM architecture to design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.
We are offering a salary of $138,486.00 - $178,479.60/yr.
