About The Role
Join our Member Services Value Stream team as a Test Automation Engineer, where you’ll ensure the reliability, stability, and security of our software. You’ll focus on ongoing testing, automation, monitoring, and reporting to uphold quality standards and meet evolving customer needs. This role offers exposure to the latest technologies and collaboration across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and mobile platforms using SCHS frameworks.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
- Ensure system quality, performance, and security through robust testing practices.
- Write clean, maintainable automation code aligned with SCHS standards.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyse test results to identify issues and drive improvements.
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks for scalability and sustainability.
- Promote automation strategy and continuous improvement within squads and the QA Community of Practice.
- Mentor QAs, share best practices, and foster a strong engineering culture.
- Participate in agile ceremonies to integrate testing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
About You
- You have 5+ years of hands-on technical testing experience in an Agile environment.
- Skilled across system, integration, regression, end-to-end testing, and UAT support.
- Experience in developing, and maintaining automated tests using Postman, C#, Selenium, RestSharp, and Playwright within Visual Studio or similar IDEs.
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, with an understanding of release pipelines.
- Exposure to performance testing and cloud environments (Azure), with an appreciation of testing cloud-native applications.
- A continuous learner who stays up to date with new testing tools, technologies, and practices.
- Ideally hold relevant Testing, Agile, or Azure certifications.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving and driving quality outcomes through automation.
