Job Description:

Tax Services is responsible for managing TDBG’s corporate tax matters including planning, compliance, reporting, strategy, governance and liaising with revenue authorities.

This Senior Tax Manager role will report jointly to the AVP and Senior Tax Manager of Tax Services and will be responsible for overseeing Canadian income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax audits for TD Bank and certain Canadian subsidiaries.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing all aspects of the income tax compliance functions such as filing tax returns and liaising with Revenue authorities and internal stakeholders on income tax audits.
• Managing all aspects of the income tax accounting functions including tax provision, analyses, and financial statement disclosures.
• Leading and participating in tax planning and advisory initiatives.
• Developing and updating SOX and standard operating procedure documentation to ensure that TD Bank remains SOX compliant.
• Leading various process improvement and reorganization initiatives.
• Developing the team, ensuring that we continue to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Education/Accreditations/Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Professional Designation (CPA or MBA) and or completion of the in-depth tax courses
• 8+ years of relevant income tax experience
• Highly flexible, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities/deadlines
• Possess strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Strong people manager with the ability to lead a team of professionals

Work activities include a blend of highly collaborative activities and individual deliverables. Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week effective 3 Nov, 2025. Colleagues may spend more or less days in office as required by the business line.
