Business Development Representative

Teamswell is a high-growth nearshore outsourcing company working for US companies. We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive new client acquisition across the U.S. and Canada. This role blends sales expertise, you’ll own the outreach pipeline, create and manage lead generation campaigns, identify networking opportunities, and nurture client relationships through consultative selling.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted outbound and inbound campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Research and identify potential clients within target industries (e.g., tech, legal, marketing, administrative, finance).
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through CRM tools and data-driven prospecting.
  • Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows in the U.S. and Latin America.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design content-driven campaigns, digital outreach strategies, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Conduct consultative sales calls to understand client needs and present customized staffing solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and close new business partnerships.
  • Track metrics and continuously improve conversion rates through data analysis and A/B testing of campaigns.
  • Report progress, challenges, and insights directly to the executive team.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, growth marketing, outsourcing, staffing, or nearshoring services.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving measurable growth.
  • Experience designing and managing lead generation campaigns across multiple channels (LinkedIn, email, events, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. and Canadian SMB markets and their outsourcing needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to blend creative marketing and structured sales execution.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce) and sales automation platforms.
  • Must be based in the United States and willing to travel to Latin America for client visits, events, and team retreats.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
