Job Description
For our site in Chalon-sur-Saône, which specializes in the production of glass bottles, you will report to the Site Manager and functionally to the Chief Financial Officer of the Tubular Glass Europe and Asia Division. The Administrative and Financial Manager is responsible for the financial and administrative management of the site. He or she is assisted by an accountant and an accounting assistant. The duties are as follows:
- Act as the site's point of contact with local authorities and administrations within the scope of responsibility.
- Supervise accounting and financial activities.
- Manage the site's cash flow.
- Organize annual financial closings.
- Coordinate experts for all periodic declarations, legal publications, and the organization and holding of board meetings.
- Contribute to the development of the company's strategy.
- Oversee the management of the site's IT systems.
- Calculate sales prices.
- Prepare return on investment analyses in accordance with group guidelines.
- Develop annual budgets with the Site Manager and manage their revisions.
- Ensure regular reporting to the group and produce internal reports.
- Create action plans and internal reports to perform detailed analyses and monitor budgets.
- Maintain close and regular communication with the Group Finance Manager, requiring fluency in spoken and written English.
Qualifications
- Hold a higher education degree (Master's level, 4-5 years of higher education) in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems Management, or equivalent.
- Have significant experience (minimum 5 years) in financial and administrative management in an industrial environment.
- Be proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and have excellent Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
- Demonstrate proactivity, strong organizational skills, and a strong results-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with multiple departments.
- Demonstrate adaptability, rigor, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in professional English, both spoken and written

- Full-time permanent contract
- Fixed daily rate contract

Remuneration elements: Base salary, annual bonus (13th month spread over June and December after 8 months of service), RTT (reduced working hours), family group health insurance, pension plan, works council, executive bonus based on objectives.
