Key Tasks And Responsibilities
- Set up the medium- and long-term maintenance strategy of BWE Gabon.
- Long term maintenance planning and maintenance program management:
Manage Contractor Relationships
Schedule all long-term maintenance outages with coordination to drilling, logistics, operations etc.
- Responsible for 90-, 180- and 365-days scheduling, planning, logistics, and coordination with Contractors.
- Responsible for efficient and effective planning and scheduling of all Engineering scopes, liaising with Operations for a seamless handover from scope completion to commissioning, startup and handover.
- Onshore focal point for any corrective maintenance support, troubleshooting support and coordination with relevant Vendors when needed.
- Actively manages the onshore plan readiness reviews for work supported by the offshore team including management of all planning entry criteria.
- Accountable for compliance of all Safety Critical Maintenance and for the management of the Safety Critical Deviation Register and all its associated Safety Critical Risk Assessments (SCRAs) - providing a demonstrable status for the continued Operation of the asset.
- Supported by the BWE Maintenance & Integrity senior advisor, ensure a close and effective working relationship exists with the DGH Technical Authority for all Maintenance, Inspection, Integrity and Engineering deviations or critical issues.
- Responsible for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of all Vendor support required for Maintenance, Inspection, Integrity and Engineering, ensuring lessons learned are captured and deployed for future work scopes (where appropriate using the PDCA).
- Responsible to support and take regular progress updates from the Offshore Maintenance Team Lead on all Maintenance, Repairs, Inspection and Engineering work offshore, and to work to provide resources and planning for gap closure.
- Manage all onshore major maintenance planning reviews to ensure efficient and effective maintenance across all systems, thus ensuring alignment with offshore work force.
- Responsible for the adherence to Management of Change (MoC) procedure for all activities within long term and campaign maintenance program, repair and inspection.
- Propose and implement initiatives to simplify the supply chain process.
- Proactive in setting up long term contracts with key vendors.
- Lead the vendor qualification process of all the main vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate the issuance of scope of work and the associated Procurement Request (PR), bid waiver to purchase material in compliance with the BWE supply chain procedure.
- Ensure LPRs are put in place with the main local suppliers and vendors in accordance with Gabonese regulation.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Maintenance, Marine or Integrity related field as minimum.
- Master’s degree in similar field preferred.
- Maintenance background and qualifications.
- Relevant experience with detailed track record may compensate a part of formal education.
Experience
- Ideally 10 or more years of maintenance experience in the oil and gas business.
- Ideally experience from offshore industry especially with jack-ups and FPSO.
- Knowledge of Marine class and flag environment and regulation.
- Knowledge in Integrity processes from inspection to fabric maintenance scope execution.
- Previous experience from working in a multicultural environment.
