Lead Finance Manager – Co-op Wholesale
£55,000 to £65,0000 plus excellent benefits including private healthcare (Work level 5)
Location: Manchester/Scunthorpe (hybrid working – typically two to three days per week spent across our Manchester and Scunthorpe offices, with at least one day each week based in Scunthorpe)
We’re looking for a Lead Finance Manager to join Co-op Wholesale as part of the Finance team. We’re looking for a Lead Finance Manager to join our team within Co-op Wholesale. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in helping us manage our resources effectively, support better decision-making, and contribute to our long-term success.

What You’Ll Do
- Support the coordination of budgets and forecasts
- Help manage the rolling forecast cycle and provide insight into performance
- Contribute to monthly performance reviews and track key initiatives
- Develop clear, insightful reporting to help teams understand and manage spend
- Support alignment of financial plans with strategic goals
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior stakeholders to challenge their thinking
- Identify opportunities to improve and simplify finance processes
- Collaborate with colleagues across the team and the wider business
What You’Ll Bring
- A recognised financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), or working towards one
- Experience in financial planning, reporting, or business partnering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in working with stakeholders and communicating financial insights
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn and grow
- Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems or planning tools
