About The Role
As Six Robotics continues to grow, we are strengthening our internal IT capabilities and looking for an Internal System Administrator to help ensure smooth, secure, and reliable day-to-day operations across our systems and network.
You will play a key role in managing internal infrastructure, supporting our growing team, and maintaining the tools and environments that enable our engineering and operations teams to perform their best work. The role combines hands-on system administration, user support, and responsibility for access management, documentation, and internal IT improvements.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, technical work, has strong ownership of their tasks, and takes pride in “making things work.”
What You Will Do
- Set up and administer computers, user accounts, and access permissions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot internal networks, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Ensure network security and proper access configurations.
- Manage hardware and software inventories, licenses, and access controls.
- Provide first-line IT support to employees and maintain internal IT documentation.
- Contribute to improving internal processes for IT operations and security.
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- Education in IT, networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT operations, support, or system administration within small to medium-sized environments.
- Solid experience with Windows environments and basic network administration (routers, switches, access points, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Linux, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong service mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian
Nice To Have
- Experience from roles such as IT Support, Operations Coordinator, or Junior System Administrator.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and automation of IT processes.
- Experience managing IT documentation and access policies in regulated or security-conscious environments.

Our Recruitment Process

- Screening call – 30 minutes with our Recruitment Lead.
- Case interview – max. 90 minutes with the Hiring Manager
- Final interview – 45 minutes with the management team and Recruitment Lead.

All employees at Six Robotics are required to undergo a security clearance (Sikkerhetsklarering) due to our close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces. Prior clearance is not required; the process begins as part of onboarding.
As part of this process, eligibility is limited to candidates holding citizenship from NATO member countries.
