Social Media Specialist (ZR_28880_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Schedule: 4 hours daily, Monday through Friday; flexible during client's business hours (9 am to 5 pm) | EST

Join a growing outpatient pediatric therapy clinic that provides essential occupational, speech, and physical therapy services to children in the community. We're seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Specialist to take our social media presence to the next level and help us connect with families who need our services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by promoting healthcare services that truly change children's lives. You'll work collaboratively with our passionate internal team while having the creative freedom to develop engaging content that showcases our important work in pediatric therapy.

• Manage and grow social media channels from the current state to a significantly increased follower base
• Create original content from scratch using design tools like Canva
• Develop and edit short reels and video content for social media platforms
• Schedule and post content across all social media channels
• Engage with the community through responding to messages and comments on social media
• Collaborate with the internal team on content ideas and strategy development
• Provide monthly oversight of Google ads, including analytics review and targeting adjustments
• Edit in-house video content as needed for social media use
• Stay current with social media algorithm changes and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a social media specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and content creation
• Video editing skills for creating engaging social media content
• Basic knowledge of Google Ads for monthly management and analytics
• Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies
• Ability to work a part-time schedule (20 hours per week)
• Strong communication skills for community engagement
