We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lead Assistant Manager to oversee core Accounts Payable operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end AP processes including invoice processing (PO and Non-PO), vendor master maintenance, payment execution, exception handling, and reconciliations. You will lead a team to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, adherence to compliance standards, and resolution of escalations. The role also involves supporting month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, and ensuring SLA targets are consistently met. A strong understanding of AP systems, controls, and stakeholder management is essential.
- Ensure seamless delivery of P2P operations including PO/Non-PO invoice processing
- Oversee T&E audit and employee support functions
- Manage AP Helpdesk, escalations, blocks, and unreconciled receivers
- Prepare and review special GL transactions and journal entries
- Support month-end close activities and payment proposal
- Ensure compliance in vendor onboarding and master data maintenance
- Manage urgent payment requests and exception handling
- Drive SLA adherence and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve AP-related issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable operations
- Strong understanding of AP processes including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and payment execution
- Experience in managing escalations, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Proficiency in ERP systems - D365
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence
- Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards
