The Quality Manager is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations of the Quality Department, performance improvement efforts for publicly reported clinical measures, assisting with regulatory agency investigations and survey activities, and data analysis related activities. Investigates and responds to Insurance Grievances and participates in response to regulatory agency deficiencies and validate plans of correction are reported to the Quality Council. Assists with implementing strategies for best practices, providing educational opportunities and performance improvement support to clinical providers and staff.
- Proactively assists the Vice President of Quality in the development and delivery of education programs to all employees, including orientation of employees, which involve all components of the QAPI program and associated regulatory guidelines.
- Develops responses to insurance grievances to identify causation, mitigation and improvement opportunities. Communicates relevant findings to the appropriate leadership team members.
- Manages, tracks, trends, and analyzes the performance to quality measures. Assists with managing and analyzing performance improvement opportunities. Audits medical records and monitors performance measures for sentinel events, reportable events.
- Prepares documents and correspondence, demonstrating excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills. Responsible for the facilitation of Quality Council. Effectively coordinates activities associated with meeting management, transcription of minutes, report generation, and follow-up as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Four (4 )years of acute care hospital quality department experienceCPHQ within one year of employment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quality Measure Performance Improvement experience
- Computer Literacy and Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization

Pay Rate: Min - $93,800 | Max - $124,000
