Business Development Representative

The central purpose of a BDR is to drive business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new sales opportunities. This role is foundational in expanding a company’s customer base and in supporting long-term revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Send quotes via email and follow up on client inquiries.
  • Conduct client follow-up and prospecting calls to maintain engagement and identify new opportunities.
  • Promote EZ Quote campaigns and special offers to assigned clients.
  • Ensure 100% contact coverage of assigned client portfolio.
  • Upload all client interactions and call logs into the CRM system.
  • Update and maintain accurate contact information in CUCc’s and other internal databases.
  • Track and report on client engagement metrics and quote conversion rates.
  • Ensure timely renewal of contracts and rate sheets.
  • Prepare and submit Charter BKs and BLs in accordance with operational deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update the demurrage file with accurate billing and waiver information.

Requirements

  • Located in Mexico City
  • Academic education: Bachelor’s Degree, International business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience in Logistics industry (Freight Forwarder or Shipping)
  • Quality oriented
  • Analytical Skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office. (Advanced Excel skills)
  • Fluent in English
