About the Role & Team
This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Social Media strategy for Studio Marketing and Brand Franchise, integrating content, influencer, and data strategies, while managing a team of 3 people. Additionally he/she will collaborate with other Lines of Business social media teams on the strategy for Studio content (films and series) as well as the Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar franchises.
This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home.
What You Will Do
- Manage the social media team, setting strategic priorities and allocating resources across 22 social media channels of Studio and Brand Franchise business.
- Oversee analytics and insights, ensuring all campaigns are data-driven.
- Manage influencer partnerships end-to-end, from selection to performance reporting.
- Budget management and optimization.
- Acts as a bridge with the wider marketing team (PR, Brand, D+, Brand Franchise) to align social content with studio objectives.
- Boost a creativity mindset to the team and agency partners to boost Engagement rate of our social media content.
- Guarantee sustained growth in our social media platforms, by maintaining and building on gains in engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Optimize influencer spend and content output without requiring additional budget.
- Create and update content calendar for Social Media
- Stakeholder management, working with different teams and communicating clearly and persuasively
Required Qualifications & Skills
- A higher education degree in an area of the marketing field, preferably social media.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in social media.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Understanding of the Spanish Social Media landscape, from understanding what can cut through where to know what will drive engagement rates
- Content calendar planning – you’re confident owning upcoming calendars, leading the charge with a holistic view of what’s happening.
- Comfortable navigating matrix’d large global organizations, and are familiar with approval processes, creative guidelines and approval systems
- Previous experience managing people.
- Ability to interact at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
