Position Overview: The company seeks a highly skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join its dynamic marketing team. This pivotal role requires exceptional analytical and technical proficiencies, combined with a deep understanding of marketing principles. Key responsibilities include fostering collaborative relationships, meticulously collecting and analyzing marketing data, and transforming it into actionable insights to optimize campaign performance. The analyst will develop and maintain comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to track KPIs and visualize trends. Effective communication of complex findings and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders is paramount. Proficiency in Google Analytics, CRM MS Dynamics, and Marketo is essential. Beyond technical expertise, strong analytical acumen, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills are indispensable for driving measurable business growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Gather data from various sources including website analytics, sales data, marketing platforms, and email platforms like Marketo.
- Performance Measurement: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns, such as leads, conversion rates, sales pipeline, marketing funnel and website traffic.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex datasets using statistical techniques and software. Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM software for effective data management.
- Forecasting: Predict future sales and market trends based on data analysis to inform and enhance marketing strategy.
- Reporting: Present findings and recommendations to marketing managers and company leaders using clear data visualizations (graphs, tables).
- Campaign Optimization: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with campaign marketing managers to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business objectives.
Essential Skills And Requirements:
- Analytical Prowess: Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret complex information to provide actionable insights.
- Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating with the marketing team.
- Proficiency in Data Tools: Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Excel, Marketo, Quicksight (AWS), CRM MS Dynamics, and familiarity with Hubspot and Salesforce.
- Marketing Acumen: Solid understanding of marketing strategies, audience segmentation, and advertising campaigns to contextualize data effectively.
- Critical Thinking: Capacity to question assumptions and identify underlying patterns to uncover the true drivers of market trends.
- Organizational & Time Management: Strong ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Research & Data Interpretation: Excellent skills in research, analysis, and data interpretation.
- Experience: At least 1.5 to 2 years of experience in a marketing role. Ideal candidate has experience in a B2B SaaS organization, working with Marketing, Sales Ops and/or Finance organizationThe ideal candidate will have experience working with Marketing and/or Sales Ops organizations within a B2B SaaS company.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, social sciences, marketing, or a related field.

Within 60 Days:
- Reporting Proficiency: Become adept at creating reports for marketing activities and funnel stages, and replicate these using the data sources.
- Dashboard Expertise: Gain a thorough understanding of marketing dashboards, their underlying data, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strategic Planning: Develop plans to improve demand generation tracking and reporting processes.
Within 90 Days:
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Generate specialized reports by integrating marketing data (from Google platforms, CRM MS Dynamics, Marketo) with product data.
- Efficiency & Automation: Maintain existing/create new reporting and automate repetitive tasks to boost efficiency.
- Proactive Insights: Actively identify and provide insights on funnel inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
