Assistant Vice President - Data Architect

This position will have the opportunity to engage with clients utilizing all aspects of a Data Management organization including Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Data Security, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and Data Science.  You will also be working closely with Cloud, Big Data, Data Modeling, Data Engineering and Project Management consultants and must be able to work well in multi-functional and multi-shore project teams. This position may require frequent travel to client sites in the U.S. 

•     Own target architecture and medallion patterns
•     Own Foundational data platform recommendations around standards, naming, design, technology, etc.
•     Define subject-area taxonomy, data contracts, and RBAC patterns 
•     Guide observability, security, and retention-by-design 
•     Approve key designs/models
•     Produce logical/physical models and Source-to-Target mappings 
•     Design identity & matching (deterministic + fuzzy) 
•     Optimize performance/partitioning/cost 
•     Align models with governance and lineage
•     Data provisioning workstream: setup & access strategy, profiling, etc

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 9-15 years of experience in data architecture and/or data management.

7+ years of experience with BI/DW implementations in Enterprise Data Management, including 3+ years of experience in technical or solution architecture

3+ years of consulting experience

2+ years of experience working with offshore teams

2 years minimum experience with modern data architecture (Big Data, Cloud, Open-source computing, etc.)
