About The Role
BGIS is seeking a capable and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee building operations and compliance for a major private hospital in Perth.
You’ll ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all essential services, from HVAC and electrical systems to critical hospital infrastructure, while supporting a high-quality patient environment.
A great opportunity for a capable maintenance professional to take ownership of essential services management within a nationally supported healthcare contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and reactive repairs.
- Supervise and support contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Oversee statutory testing, maintenance records, and asset performance.
- Manage BMS systems, infrastructure shutdowns, and maintenance scheduling.
- Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with hospital teams and external partners.
About You
Essential:
- Broad experience in facilities or maintenance management within complex sites.
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and building services.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confident in leading contractors and engaging with clients day-to-day.
Desirable:
- Healthcare or critical environment experience.
- Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC).
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience with high-voltage or essential services operations.
