About The Role

BGIS is seeking a capable and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee building operations and compliance for a major private hospital in Perth.

You’ll ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all essential services, from HVAC and electrical systems to critical hospital infrastructure, while supporting a high-quality patient environment.

A great opportunity for a capable maintenance professional to take ownership of essential services management within a nationally supported healthcare contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and reactive repairs.
• Supervise and support contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Oversee statutory testing, maintenance records, and asset performance.
• Manage BMS systems, infrastructure shutdowns, and maintenance scheduling.
• Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Build strong working relationships with hospital teams and external partners.

About You

Essential:

• Broad experience in facilities or maintenance management within complex sites.
• Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and building services.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident in leading contractors and engaging with clients day-to-day.

Desirable:

• Healthcare or critical environment experience.
• Trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or HVAC).
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with high-voltage or essential services operations.
