Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all aircraft repair and maintenance activities and ensuring those activities are performed safely, on-time, and within budget. You'll ensure all foreign object inspections and activities are completed, ensure projects are properly staffed with qualified employees and establish work standards, hours of work and appropriate shifts to be worked to accomplish work on small programs. You'll also review maintenance delays and system problems in order to suggest improvements to maintenance processes and procedures. You will have overall responsibility for the airworthiness of the fleet and will ensure safe and adequate maintenance is performed at all times with the exception of platform supporting programs.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Qualifications You Must Have:

• B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
• Typically, 4+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience.
• Familiarity with aviation safety standards, FAA regulations, policies, and procedures and safe operating practices
• Basic understanding of Aircraft Maintenance and Inspection processes and procedures and/or returning planes to service
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
