Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- responsible for the achievement of the plant budget incl. all relevant KPIs, legal P&L responsibility and also other, non-financial targets
- ensures effective HR and people Management: FUEL, proactive Talent Management and selecting, orienting, developing, coaching, counselling and disciplining subordinates and staff
- acts as a corporate entrepreneur: creates, develops and executes ideas, programs and initiatives which are relevant not only for the plant(s) but for the company in total
- ensures full compliance with all Freudenberg and FHCS stated practices, strategic objectives & reporting deadlines as well as defined corporate policies and guidelines, in general and specifically HSE/Quality related policies
- ensure continuous improvement on productivity, cost and innovation in order to secure growth and profit
Additional Responsibilities
- ensures full compliance of the operation with all legal, safety and Freudenberg compliance standards
- ensures a seamless and target group oriented communication, execution and monitoring of all relevant corporate, regional and local topics
- acts as an ambassador and ultimate representative of the FHCS organization within the community; builds company image by collaborating with community
- organizations, authorities, unions, workers councils and employees in line with the Guiding Principles and ethical business practices
- represents plant(s) in respective Product Supply community network in order to define and implement standards for Technology and Processes
- keep entrusted assets permanently maintained and modernized and reduce impact of material cost by procurement and value engineering

Qualifications:
Professional Experience and Education
- academic degree or equivalent technical education/graduate required (preferably in engineering)
- knowledge of and practical experience in the FMCG industry
- 7 or more years of experience as Head of production and ideally 2 or more years in senior Supply chain management or Product Development functions
- fluent English required (written & spoken) and preferably one other language
- Change Management experience preferred
Specific Knowledge
- strong knowledge & understanding of engineering, product supply and production processes
- good understanding of Freudenberg Guiding Principles, key financial figures and KPIs
Specific Skills
- strong Leadership qualities & commitment to personal development, talent management and organizational development
- strong communication & interpersonal skills & ability to manage change
- holistic thinking and acting, management of complexity and political savviness as well as strong analytical and influencing skills
