Greenvolt Power Greece is seeking a skilled Asset Manager to ensure ongoing management and supervision over the portfolio of photovoltaic and wind installations / assets in order to maximise revenue, profit and returns while meeting organizational growth objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Leads, manages and develops the local Asset Management team by providing technical and commercial supervision;
- Supports development of short and long-term strategies for the sale and purchase of energy and property rights from renewable energy sources;
- Prepares and agrees operational plans and budgets, controls and analyzes performance of operating assets against approved budgets;
- Makes arrangements and concludes contracts with all external entities – with regard to the current management of the solar / wind farm;
- Oversees servicing of commercial contracts concluded with companies (servicing, optimization, analysis, reporting of technical and financial parameters);
- Supports investment insurance and participates in insurance policies negotiations;
- Develops offer, tenders and acquires new clients for wind farm and solar farm management services; negotiates and concludes service contracts with external entities (after approval by the superior / Management Board / Financial Department);
- Provides support in negotiating contracts for the purchase of key components and services (wind turbines, solar panels, inverters, turnkey wind farm construction, etc.);
- Provides support in the development of the supply chain (plans) and secures the implementation processes in practical solutions of the entire group;
- Responsible for execution of the contracts for sale of energy, sale of property rights, sale of guarantees of origin;
- Supervises the development of digital tools for monitoring solar / wind assets;
- Implements, continuously improves and automatizes local asset management systems and optimizes related processes;
- Supervises the settlements of V-Ridium and other companies in regards to Asset Management (verification of readings and contracts, enforcement of contract provisions);
- For the assets under supervision prepares reports and reports on, for example, energy prices, green certificates
- Actively participates and supports in the process of taking over and merging companies within the
- group;
- Builds a network of experts on installations; identifies and networks with other units; acquire knowledge; sets standards and rules for knowledge management and knowledge sharing within the group;
- Studies market trends to maximize profits and identify asset management development opportunities;
- Maintains and ensures Asset Management activities are undertaken in accordance with local legislation and HSE policies;
- Establishes and maintains relationship with external and internal clients at the highest standards;
- Works with Country Managers and develops local Asset Management capabilities.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics and in Technical field
- Minimum 5 years of asset management experience ideally in both areas: commercial (contract management) and technical (infrastructure management) in the renewable energy industry;
- Experience in applying economics and technical concepts in practice;
- Sound working knowledge of project finance documents (e.g. asset reporting requirements) and financial reporting.
- Strong commercial acumen/track record, in particular contract management, and the ability to translate technical findings into commercial implications.
- Excellent knowledge of English language;
