What You Will Do:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Component assembly, interconnecting lines/piping, and system testing prior to shipment to customer sites.
- Manufacture, assemble, and assess the company’s applicable systems.
- Become cross trained on welding and fabrication of the cabinetry, framework, and piping and system testing and/or electrical assembly practices prior to shipment to customer sites.?
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Your Must Haves:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2 years of experience in equipment/component assembly position or similar position that displays a mechanical aptitude.
- Read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Work with mathematical concepts such as probability, algebra, and geometry.
- Understand written, oral or diagrammed instructions and demonstrate strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Adaptability & flexibility - can change plans in the moment and make tactical adjustments appropriately. Remains calm and confident even in stressful situations.
- Self-Motivated, punctual, and can maintain good attendance.
- Work overtime when required.
Our Environment:
This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Constant (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.
Frequently (role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day)
Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.
Occasional (role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day)
Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs.
