Camelot is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team who can help build a thriving community while delivering impactful business experiences for our client’s dynamic Technology and Product Hub in Foster City, CA.
The Facilities Coordinator position is responsible for partnering with our clients’ Facility Team to deliver workplace services, manage facilities maintenance activities, and ensure the overall functionality of the office at our clients' Foster City campus. This position requires the individual to work on our client’s site Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- The Facilities Coordinator needs to demonstrate high client and customer service orientation.
- This role requires a self-starter who is excited to identify and proactively address opportunities to improve experiences at our client’s office.
- Manage ad hoc requests for smaller programs, including pest control, work order management, landscaping, ATM vending machines, and kitchen equipment repair.
- Assist the client's larger facilities team with various deliverables related to the campus refurbishment project, including floor walks and move support.
- Facilities Coordinator to assist the client's project team with the preparation of swing space and densification to support a larger campus refurbishment project. Oversee the relocation of staff to ensure the completion of furniture densification. Collaborate with space champions to ensure thorough pre-move purging and packing of items. Ensure that all furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) are appropriately placed in the temporary workspace and that all amenity spaces are correctly and fully set up. Supervise movers to ensure that origin floors are cleared of artwork and FFE designated for redeployment, and that all cabinets are emptied of work materials and office supplies. Assist with efforts to dispose of furniture.
- Monitor incoming work orders to ensure they are assigned to the correct teams and addressed promptly. Responding as necessary to provide excellent customer service, resolving reported issues, and closing work orders as needed.
- Review work order ageing reports and customer satisfaction survey responses to ensure the operation is meeting our client’s Corporate Service’s SLAs.
- Partner with various clients' Corporate Services managers to support adequate facilities, culinary, and space planning programs, including field verification and floor audits.
- Provide general and overall facilities services, including daily monitoring of clients’ physical office conditions to maintain class A fit and finish throughout and around the building, including but not limited to paint, carpet, ceilings, furniture, and performance quality of contracted services.
- Assist the client in planning and supporting local events and client employee experiences, delivering key outcomes of the office engagement plan.
- Perform other related duties, as needed by the client’s Facilities and Corporate Services team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Facilities and/or Corporate Services.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Demonstrate and provide high-level customer service.
- Experience with contract furniture, moves, and vendor management.
- General knowledge of facility management to support the company's clients and their corporate service management.
- Strong and highly effective verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with all levels of Camelot’s and our client’s organization.
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, finding creative solutions to a variety of needs.
- Working knowledge of facility systems, furniture, and ergonomics.
- Ability to work in a fluid environment where assignments change rapidly and are time-sensitive.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs.
