Description

The IT Network Administrator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s network infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of all network systems—both on-premises and cloud-based. The role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network hardware, software, and communication links, as well as supporting data center and electronic infrastructure operations.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement short- and long-term network strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain network administration procedures and training materials in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Manage network assets, including inventory tracking, lifecycle planning, and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal performance of network hardware and equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, UPS).
  • Provide second-level support for network-related issues and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and change enablement practices.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and support activities as required.

· Support Infrastructure Services Including:

O Telephony (Network-Related)

O Wireless Networking

            o Routing and switching

            o Data center networking (physical and cloud-based)

            o Second-level support for infrastructure services

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a network administration or related IT role
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Hands-On Experience With:

        o Cisco Routing & Switching

O Cisco Wireless

O Checkpoint Firewalls

        o OPManager or similar network monitoring tools

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Associate degree (AAS) in Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field
  • Basic ITIL or Agile certification
