Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals.
  2. Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  3. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce visually appealing and on-brand content.
  4. Monitor, respond to, and engage with the online community, fostering relationships and encouraging conversation.
  5. Analyze social media metrics and performance data to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
  6. Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure AHOY remains a leader in social media marketing.
  7. Implement social media advertising campaigns to boost visibility and brand awareness.
  8. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting.
  9. Conduct regular audits of social media accounts and report back with actionable recommendations.
  10. Coordinate with influencers and partners to amplify AHOY's reach and engagement.

Qualifications And Skills

  1. Proven experience as a Social Media Content Manager or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  3. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  4. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  5. Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
  6. Ability to analyze data and derive insights to improve performance.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Experience with graphic design or video editing tools is a plus.
  9. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
