Job Title: Data and Cloud Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Technologist with extensive experience in Python backend development, cloud computing with a focus on Azure, data engineering, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable AI products, handling large datasets, and ensuring efficient low latency processing for a high number of concurrent users for GenAI products for the firm and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable Generative AI solutions.
• Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines to efficiently process large volumes of data, utilizing Azure's data services (such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks).
• Design and implement data architectures to support large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and storage using Azure services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and integrate AI solutions.
• Implement best practices for GenAI solution development, versioning, and monitoring.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, data engineering, and Azure technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Python and cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
• Strong expertise in key Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Identity and Access Management, and Azure Virtual Networks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for building CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
• Knowledge of Azure Security best practices, including Azure Security Center and Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
• Expertise in Azure Storage solutions, such as Blob Storage and Azure Cosmos DB, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark on Azure Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data architecture best practices 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
