The Role

The BG&E Civil Engineering team is well established with a reputation as an industry leader with our diverse client base for providing innovative design solutions in complex brownfield environments. Our projects include everything from upgrades to existing facilities to complete new builds with construction values in excess of $100M. We are proud of our project portfolio which continues to include some of the most significant civil infrastructure projects in WA. We are now looking for a mid-level drainage engineer to join our established team and participate on a range of projects across the project life cycle from planning, detailed design, construction support to asset management.

This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to continue the development of their knowledge and career on a range of projects under the guidance of a technically strong leadership team.

About You

You will work on a broad range of projects for urban redevelopment, highways and rail, delivering innovative and technical advice in particular around drainage and acting as a key contact for clients. As a professional engineer you will have:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering post-graduation with at least 2 years of drainage design experience.
• Demonstrated experience in designing drainage for urban infrastructure projects, preferably to Main Roads Western Australia design standards.
• Demonstrated competency with drainage design software potentially including 12D drainage, Drains or OpenRoads (Drainage).
• The ability to work well within a team environment.
