What You’Ll Build

We are looking for highly motivated, self-driven and customer-focused team members to strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team at SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. You should be fluent in Japanese and English.

In this role you will be the primary point of contact for the customer on technical topics and will work closely with internal teams during the sales cycle. You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the customer on the SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition topic and its offerings

Expectations

1. Present in detail technical, security and operational aspects of the SAP Cloud ERP Private Edition and value proposition to the customers (usually to CIO’s, IT managers, Data Center managers and SAP Technology staff)
2. Support and organize technical responses to RFP / RFI’s.
3. Conduct detailed technical workshops with customers to define the “to-be” architecture .
4. Blueprint customer requirements around HA/DR ,Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks etc. 
5. Work to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams. 

What You Bring

Work Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on customer facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity etc.) 
• Experience with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centers hosting.
• SAP HANA and S/4 HANA technical skills would be helpful.
• Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor necessary.

Education And Qualifications / Skills And Competencies

• Native level Japanese Speaker along with Business level English.
• Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
• Good understanding of operational aspects (Application or Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment. 
• Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
• Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP).
• Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects.
• Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice.
• High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT related streams.
