At UBS, we’re looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager who shares our passion for creating a high-performing, and supportive workplace.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the HR function, delivering workplace solutions that align with UBS’s vision and values. You’ll partner with managers, employees and external partners on a range of HR matters, providing mentoring and strategic advice across the entire employee lifecycle to foster a strong and positive workplace culture.

You’ll also play a key role in driving best practice across policies and procedures, job design, recruitment, and induction, ensuring UBS continues to attract, engage, and retain talented, committed individuals.

AS PART OF THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, overseeing the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance tracking, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing timely and trusted advice on HR policies, entitlements, and procedures, ensuring clarity and fairness.
  • Provide comprehensive HR generalist support and strategic advice to the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the development of HR policies, workforce planning, and longer-term people strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Partner with managers to address performance and conduct matters, offering coaching and guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace behaviour to foster a fair and accountable culture.
  • Coordinate and support training and development programs to enhance staff capability and ensure compliance.
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment strategy to attract, select, and retain top talent in a fast-paced industry environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and ease of access for reporting and decision-making.
  • Champion employee engagement and wellbeing, promoting a culture of inclusion, recognition, and continuous improvement through proactive communication and support initiatives.
  • Lead effective recruitment strategy and processes to ensure quality talent acquisition in a fast-paced industry.

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:

  • Experience in HR generalist or business partner roles
  • Strong knowledge of Australian workplace legislation and WHS requirements.
  • Proven recruitment expertise within dynamic, fast-paced industries
  • Excellent relationship-building and coaching skills.
  • Proactive, able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Strong independent work ethic with proven organisation and time management skills.
  • High level written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using Employment Hero Software desired but not required.
