Senior Backend developer

Your Role:

Our backend engineers work with infrastructure, microservices, and scalable systems, building the backbone of services that people rely on every single day. By collaborating with fellow Qvikies or client teams, you can help to create seamless and secure payment solutions, authentication systems, cloud services and data pipelines that power the daily transactions of millions of people across Finland and beyond.

• Develop high-quality, scalable backend solutions
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate cloud deployments
• Work with modern cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Use cutting-edge tech instead of legacy systems

Who We’Re Looking For:

• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Skilled in technologies like Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Java, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working closely with clients, preferably in a consulting role
• Ability to coach and support other developers and team members
• This position requires strong communication skills in English and ability to speak fluent Finnish. You should also be residing in Finland and have a valid work permit.

But perks and promises won’t pay the bills. The salary for this position will be somewhere between €5,000–6,700/month depending on your skills and experience. You will also have the possibility to become a Qvik shareholder.
