We are seeking a motivated IP legal counsel with 2-3 years of experience to join DBI legal team. The successful candidate will support the protection, enforcement, and strategic management of the Group’s global trademarks portfolio while drafting, negotiating, and advising on various IP agreements under the supervision of the Head of IP.

In This Role, You Will:
- Manage the registration and maintenance of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and analyze the results with a business-oriented approach.
- Monitor and enforce IP rights, including identifying and addressing potential infringements.
- Review, draft and negotiate IP agreements, including licensing, assignments, coexistence and non-disclosure agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and support on IP and consumer law matters, including product development, marketing, and branding.
- Advise on global changes in legislation and identify opportunities for DBI in your area of expertise. Stay abreast of legal developments and industry best practices in the field. Use of technology and data to drive speed, automation and data driven decision making.
- Assist with the management of IP litigation and dispute resolution.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of IP assets and related documentation.
- Raise IP and consumer law culture across the business and ensure compliance with DBI Trademark and contractual Guidelines, including setting new principles as needed. Advise and ensure that internal stakeholders receive sound, practical, and timely legal advice on IP/trademarks and brand protection related matters.
- Develop and implement global and regional trademark strategies to enhance DIM brand value, ensuring alignment to our commercial priorities;
- Set, forecast, track, and control IP legal spend.
- Advise with support of our law firm, on regulatory topics.

Essential Skills And Requirements:
- Master’s degree in intellectual property;
- 2-3 years of experience managing a trademark portfolio in a law firm or within a company's legal department;
- Familiarity with trademark, patent, and copyright registration processes.
- In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws, regulations, and procedures;
- Strong analytical and research skills;
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to interact and work on matters with international teams;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Experience in negotiating and drafting IP agreements;
