Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Commercial Contracts Lawyer to support high-volume client projects with a growing emphasis on the manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for motivated legal professionals with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience who bring strong commercial contracting skills and an interest in manufacturing-related industries. The successful candidate will work across diverse contracts, collaborate closely with client legal teams, and contribute to strategic contracting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, distribution agreements, supply contracts, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and service agreements.
- Provide business-focused legal advice on contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance.
- Support clients in manufacturing-related industries, with flexibility to assist in other sectors as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure contracts align with operational and strategic objectives.
- Assist with contract management processes, including template creation, database oversight, and potential CLM system implementation.
- Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and best practices impacting manufacturing and commercial contracting.
- JD or equivalent, with active bar membership in good standing.
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience; in-house exposure preferred.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

- Exposure to large-scale commercial contracting projects.
- Familiarity with CLM systems and contract operations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional corporate teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads.

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $110,000, and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401k, and more.
