The OpportunityAs we continue to scale nationally, we’re looking for a detail-driven, analytical, and people-focused HR & Payroll Support Officer to support our HR, payroll, commissions, and compliance functions. A Day In The Life

  • Payroll & Commission Support
  • Be the first point of contact for sales commission queries
  • Respond to payroll and commission questions professionally and promptly
  • Assist with payroll data entry, validation, and reconciliation
  • Support commission calculations, reviews, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Support the administration of incentive structures
  • Assist the Finance team in validating pay runs and accounting data

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with HR administration, onboarding/offboarding, and employee documentation
  • Respond to HR-related queries around policies, entitlements, and general staff info
  • Support training, compliance activities, and broader HR projects
  • Maintain confidential HR files and databases
  • Assist with WHS documentation, compliance tracking, and reporting
  • Data, Systems & Analytics
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, logs, and performance tracking documents
  • Use Airtable and Google Sheets to manage workflows and reporting dashboards
  • Analyse HR, payroll, and commission data to identify trends or improvements
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocation

About You:

  • 2+ years experience in payroll, finance, HR support, or commission analysis
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation & Fair Work requirements
  • Experience with payroll systems (Xero, HeroPay) and CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets abilities and strong data analysis skills
  • Experience processing or reviewing sales commissions/incentive plans

To Be A Front Running Candidate:

  • Experience with Airtable for workflow/databases
  • Experience with Make (Integromat) or other automation tools
  • Experience with HR, payroll, or WHS systems
  • Exposure to analytics tools (Power BI, Sheets, Looker Studio, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic WHS compliance
