At Suffolk County Council, every role is a chance to create positive change. As an HR Business Partner Change in the Human Resources team you’ll see the direct impact of your work on the people you support.

As a key member of our HR service, you’ll work collaboratively with managers and leaders providing expert advice on all aspects of HR and organisational development, with a strong focus on transformation, cultural change, and strategic workforce planning.

Your role and responsibilities 

  • Provide expert technical HR/OD advice across the spectrum of HR services to support organisational change and operational people management.
  • Deliver people-focused change programmes aligned with service strategies.
  • Coach and challenge managers to embed new ways of working.
  • Help to drive performance outcomes through change, focussing on people issues and people development in addition to structural changes.
  • Use data and evidence to drive performance and inform decision-making.

You Will Need

  • MCIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • A confident change leader with a track record of delivering complex HR projects
  • Skilled in coaching, influencing, and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledgeable in employment law, OD tools, and public sector reform
