Lead Software Engineer - Python/WSS - (CREQ238032)
Description
- Provide technical leadership across the design, development, and implementation of core systems using Wallstreet Suite Systems (WSS).
- Involve in WSS server and Client installations, migrations and Upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in production and non-production environments
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Perform in-depth analysis of incidents to determine root causes and propose both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.
- Act as the first line of support for end-user queries, coordinating resolution efforts with internal IT teams and external WSS vendor partners.
- Recommend and apply configuration fixes or enhancements to improve application stability and performance. Take an active role in supporting the application lifecycle, including incident, problem, and change management processes
- Oversee and execute scheduled or ad hoc deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with business users to collect requirements for bug fixes, enhancements, and small to mid-sized functional changes.
- Develop and validate test scenarios with end users; conduct unit testing to ensure solution accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in production and non-production environments.
- Lead technical investigations and contribute to solution architecture and detailed design.
- Design and implement customer-specific components such as reports, scripts, interfaces, and functional extensions.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of implemented changes, focusing on both functionality and system performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders to confirm solution readiness.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.
